Bubble Border Tutorial
For this tutorial I will be using this photo from Boys Over Flowers (From Soompi's BOF Thread)
1. Open a new file. Make a transparent layer and then paste the photo that you are using ON TOP of the transparent layer.
Using the rectangular marquee tool, select the area that you want to have the border.
2. Then go to Select > Inverse or you can press Ctrl + Shift + I.
3. Then on your keyboard, click on Q. This will put a quick mask on your image.
4. Go to Filter > Pixelate > Color Halftone. A window should pop up. You can change the settings to whatever you want,
depending on how you want the bubbles to look like. These are the settings that I used.
This is what I got with my settings:
5. On your keyboard, click on Q to remove the quick mask. It should now look like this.
6. Click on the Delete button and the background will be erased.
Then add a border by going to Layer > Layer Style > Stroke.
This is my finished product.
